I was wondering if I should name the post My arms are outstretched towards you ‘cuz I didn’t understand the words outstretched towards when I first listened to it. :D But I really love the title, I love the word `sway`. Not its meaning, but the pronounciation… And the whole sentence sounds great to my ears. I’m weird, I know, but I’m just saying the truth.

The song can be for God or a person we love. I think every single song of Flyleaf is about love and everyone can interpret it for two ways. If you’re a Christian – you’ll probably interpret as a song about God, but for songs by them are about love. No matter who is a person we love – it’s for him/her.

If you want read over a lot of opinion about songs, you should go to:

Hello again. :D Today it’s time for truth!

As always when I was looking for lyrics I met interesting opinions about the song. Almost everybody says that this song is about young Lacley! When she was young and didn’t believe in God. I found out that Lacley lived with mother and her brothers, sisters. Where’s father you ask? Following fans’ words, the line: To stop the pain from the beatings is about him! I feel sorry for her, if this is true.

I like the line: Wishing my wrists were bleeding. It’s obviously about cutting her wrists with razor blade. It’s also hard topic to talk about ( like topic in Sarrow). Clever lyrics, clever songs, clever Flyleaf, clever fans, clever me. Cheers!

Today it’s time for song called I’m Sorry.

When I first time heard this song I thought that the song is about raped 10 years old girl.

Your hand’s coming down again

I close my eyes and brace myself
I only noticed your face

I am aware
Of what you mean by then
I’m only ten years old

I love you and I understand

It all seems to me be about a rape. I can’t imagine others explanation for this lyrics. And the title `I’m sorry`. Victims often feel like they are guilty for THIS fact. So, everything’s clear. It’s beautiful song about a sad reality…

Well, well, well… Second video from `13`. Sorrow. Don’t be afraid of title. Joy will come… :D

This was my first song of Flyleaf. The second song of my rock-listening career. Oh, it’s been a while since I listened to it, and now I did it again! I remember I didn’t like when the moment when she screams in this song! And now I love it! It’s weird. It’s good to hear you sweety, my little sorrow from old lies.

Familiar breath of my old lies
Changed the color in my eyes

When I was looking for the lyrics, I met an opinion that the line about changing colors in eyes is about Twilight, Edawrd, you know… I don’t think so. I think that when you get more upset, sad or something, your eyes become dark. That’s all I think. With your eyes I can read your soul… :)

Left alone with only reflections of the memory
To face the ugly girl that’s smothering me
Sitting closer than my pain
He knew each tear before it came
Soon He will perforate the fabric of the peaceful by and by

This is the best verse I’ve ever seen! Or heard. The ugly girl, a smothering, closer then the pain, knowing tears before they came… Oh, this is just greater then greatest! I don’t know why, but it is.

And we kiss each other one more time
And sing this lie that’s halfway mine

What do you think about such an idea that the song is about Christmas? I don’t know how it is spent in USA, or where you are in, but I don’t like Chritstmas. Old lies = wishes, we kiss each other, sing this lie. It all seems to me be about the speaking wishes in Christmas. That’s all. I really, truly, very don’t like CHRISTMAS! Sorrow! Joy will come after this bullshit.

I still don’t know why I listen to Flyleaf. Their lyrics are about God, I see it, I can hear it. I’m not Christian or something. I believe in nature only, nothing else. But Flyleaf has something special. Their lyrics are truly the best, with the best meaning. Flyleaf can put in lyrics eveything. I feel their emotions, I think this is what they want from their fans – to feel the right meaning. This is the way.

You really don’t have to be a Christian to lisen to Flyleaf. The band is the best, Lacley has such an amazing voice and `the music makes me sway`. :)

Here is the first song from `13`:

Of course, songs by Flyleaf are blocked in Germany from my Channel, so sorry for that…

In my opinion the lines: I tried to kill you / You tried to save me, are definetly what the song is about. I tried to kill you – not only `kill` like a murder or something, but also when a Christian stops to be a Christian – kill the God in memories, dreams. Just kill the faith. And `you tried to save me` – God died for her, she couldn’t just stop believing. And then finally shouts: you save me! She couldn’t and she believes in God now. And then again `perfect in weakness`. She is so weak, she needs a help, she needs to believe… And she will. Maybe the song is about the young Lacley?
